Successful behavior change depends upon the way in which “helpers” interact with those who have behavior challenges or needs.

Helpers include parents, direct service workers, teachers, and other human service professionals.

Many factors affect helpers’ success including: their relationship with the one they are helping, their way of thinking about behavior, their knowledge and ability to implement behavior change techniques, and the satisfaction they derive from helping the person improve their behavior.
Dr. Smith helps helpers succeed. |
